In full compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and the Apple App Store Review Guidelines, Knowley empowers all users with complete sovereignty over their personal data. You can request permanent and irreversible deletion of your Knowley account and all related gameplay records at any time.

How to Request Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account using either of the two official methods below:

Method 1: Directly Inside the Knowley App (Instantaneous)

If you have the Knowley app installed on your device:

  1. Open the Knowley application on iOS or Android.
  2. Tap on your Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the upper corner.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and select "Delete Account".
  5. Re-authenticate your credentials to confirm. Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.

Method 2: Web & Email Request (Without App Installed)

If you uninstalled the application or cannot access your device, submit a deletion request via email. Our team processes web deletion requests within 24 to 48 hours:

Types of Data Deleted vs. Retained

Identity & Authentication Data

Gameplay History & Scores
(Total points, category league rankings, trivia answers, badges)		 Permanently Deleted from all databases and leaderboards. None retained. Historical stats are completely erased.
Technical & Analytics Logs
(Crashlytics traces, Firebase Analytics events)		 Anonymized Aggregate technical logs retain zero user-identifiable tags and auto-expire per Google policy.

Important Consequences of Deletion

  • Irreversible: Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be restored under any circumstances.
  • Username Availability: Your username may become available for other players to register.
  • Leaderboard Removal: Your username and scores will immediately disappear from global and category league rankings.
